Salmon fishing is completely prohibited on the Teno River from 2021 to 2023, but you can fish for other species from the shore, with a permit costing €20 per day.

According to the Teno fishing regulations, all fishing equipment must be disinfected when fishing on the Norwegian side. If you plan to fish from the shore on the Norwegian side, you must have a valid disinfection certificate, which you can obtain at your permit sales location, provided that your equipment has been properly disinfected.

All fishing equipment, including rods, reels, lures, boots, waders, hooks, nets, etc., must be disinfected. The disinfection fee is €5.
